My 6 month old puppy hates her crate?
We crated trained our puppy at night and while we were at work. We had family let her out during the day but she always cried and whined when we left. She used to be fine during the night in her crate but about a month ago she cried all night for a week. We decided that we value our sleep more then crating her at night and let her out. Now recently she’s broken out 3 times from her crate and destroyed 2 bases. What do we do to passify her while she’s in her crate or make it her ” safe zone” we’ve done everything in the beginning and it didn’t really work. Help!!
well on your day off you might just want to leave her cage door open so she knows its not just a place for when you go to work. if you are just putting her in there when you go to work she is going to consider it as punishment because you put her in a small space and leave. you should let her adjust to the crate before you put her in there when you go to work and bed. hope this helped, good luck with your new puppy!
