Puppy problems! Help!?
I love my puppy to death, but she’s really mean and she misbehaves! As she’s getting older, she’s getting worse! First of all, she used to be potty trained, but now she’s not all of a sudden! She just uses the restroom wherever she wants now. She urinates as she runs around the house! She jumps on you and hangs off your jacket, or she wraps her arms around your leg while you’re walking. And if you ever tell her “no”, “down”, or “stop” it just provokes her even more!! She gets grumpy and starts barking and growling at you, and she’ll bite you! She even caused my brother to bleed!
I’m just worried because I’m almost 9 months pregnant, and I fear for my baby!! I know she’ll bite him! I need training advice! There isn’t anywhere near where I live that I can take her for obedience school or anything, so it’s up to me. Thanks!
It sounds like she’s asserting dominance.
You need to reassert yourself as the alpha. Whenever she has bad behavior, ignore her – put her in a room by herself and then come back when she seems calm.
As for the potty training, it almost sounds as if it might be unintentional.get her checked out by the vet.
