Puppy Training, How to stop sniffing and eating stuff on walks?
My puppy is so hard to walk, constant sniffing and everything on the ground goes in her mouth. Trash, gum ,leaves, her favorite pine cones, and sometimes even other dog poop. I try to punish her and I always try to keep her out of reach of the stuff. Most things she snags and tries to run away with. I’m sure its a game to her but is this just a puppy phase or is this a bad habit? Any suggestions on training tips? FYI she is a Basset Hound, so it may just be the way she is going to be.
I haven’t had any problems with my basset hound.
