Potty training problems for my 3 year old son, nothing works!!!?
My son is three and a half years old and I’ve been at this for over a year now… He’ll go peepee in the potty NO problem… but he refuses to poopoo in it! I’ve done everything!! I’ve taken diapers and pullups away completely… Didnt work. I’ve tried convincing him that he needs to feed “the cow” in the potty… Didnt work. I’ve tried bribes of candy, toys and even a friggin PUPPY!! And he just wont go! And he doesn’t hold it either, if he’s got underpants on, he’ll just poop in his underpants, NO WARNING!!! The real problem is daycare and the size of diapers… my three year old is already in a size 8. (He’s not fat! He was just born a ver LARGE baby 10 lbs to be exact) Daycare wont let me keep him in underpants anymore because they wont deal with the dirty pants… and they are yelling at me that his diapers and pullups dont fit. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!
I just had a sililar problem with my daughter. There is nothing you can do, I swear. I finally gave up on my daughter, and left her alone after working at it for a year…. She is also 3. I tried everything, and she is a bog girl, so diapers and pullups wouldn’t hold her “load”…. barf. So finally I gave up. I’ll be damned if one week later she just woke up one morning and decided she would go potty. He will do it, but only on his terms. Back off, say nothing, and see what happens. Worked for me.
