puppy training stay command
Training my staffy puppy?

My staffy puppy is 6 week old and already using her training pad really well , was just wondering at what age should i start to train her to do commands like sit , stay , fetch etc ? Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
We did not know she was that young as the breeder told us she was 8 weeks when we got her and the vet has recently told us she is only six , and yes , as you can imagine , we have had murder with the breeder since then so we just want to bring out pup up properly

Tht is young to be taken from mother but you have it now. I have a 9 week border collie pup and a 2 year old dog (same breed). Im starting to do little bits of training with my pup now…things like ‘sit before food is put down’ and if you give titbits getting them to sit etc. Your staff is young yet and may sleep alot at the moment. As with my pup yours is to young to go out 4 walks yet as they havnt had their injections. About 12 weeks theyll be ready to go out to socialise.
I took my 2 yr old to puppy classes and im doing the same for my new addition. They really help to train and socialise your pup.
Good luck
