Puppy Training Scotland

Do you see this poster of a cute black puppy “offensive” or absolutely harmless???

The story is that local police in Scotland made a poster of their popular “puppy in training” Rebel sitting on a police officer’s hat beside a phone and a notice about the police force’s new phone number.

The local Muslim community was outraged over the poster because they find dogs “unclean”.

Would it be a good idea to perhaps make a different poster without the puppy in it, that the Muslim community can choose to use and the people that DON’T find the poster offensive can still post the poster up??? Or would that in some way be discriminative?

You can see the poster of the cute puppy and read the full story here.

I meant should they have two posters with their new phone number? One with the puppy , and one without the puppy for the Muslims?

Rebel is adorable and should be used on any promotional material they want to put him on. People just need to get over it.
