How can i quickly train my puppy?

I have a dog which i rescued from the RSPCA. She is 1 and a half but has never been trained or house trained. Any quick tips or long tips?

I have kind of taught her how to sit. And she is still weeing in the house (And pooing)

She is called Penny and is a spaniel cross

I would suggest crate training her so she has got a safe place to go to sleep/rest and you can have a break while she is in there.

It will teach her to hold her bladder and should stop the accidents in your house.

Take her out to the toilet every time she wakes up, after playing, after eating, before she goes to bed for the night and at least every couple of hours until you get her toileting under control.

If she is food orientated, find her favourite piece of food to give her as a lure when training her. If not, play a short game, give her lots of praise or a cuddle.

I would suggest you buy a training book. As she is a cross, you will probably do best with a general one, e.g. The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey or one of the Books for Dummies series.

You could also take her to an obedience/socialisation class in your area.
