Is not our President supposed to be above speaking on trivial incidents as with Gates?
I thought our President was supposed to be ‘above’ speaking publically on racial incidents, trvial and controversial incidents, law enforcement incidents. Even Wacko Texas tragedy and Elian Gonzales incident were handled by Janet Reno, attorney general. I thought all our Presidents to be color blind. Police are trained in certain ways and that’s it, I’ve known police beatings for delaying two seconds in putting a puppy on the floor, I’ve seen immediate arrests for yelling or arguing or not signing a traffic ticket. These were all white people’s dealings with police.
I agree. I think next time he will learned to think before he speaks on thes types of issues, especially since he stated he didn’t have all the facts.
