Can unvaccinated puppies get sick from using hand me down dog items such as a metal training/exercise pen?
I bought a second hand one from ebay and I am worried my new puppy might get parvo and other dog diseases from using another dog’s old pen. Can such diseases transfer like this? Will ordinary disinfectant get rid of anything that might be there?
Just mix up some strong bleach water, take the pen in the back yard, bleach it, and let it dry. Bleach kills parvo and just about any other disease or bacteria known to man. As long as you clean it well you won’t have any problems.
