Is this a good place for me to get my dog?
I really want a Siberia Husky puppy. I have read up on the breed, know that they need lots of exercise, I know they don’t like to be alone and stuff like that, and I really want to get one. So, pretty much the only people that breed sibes in the Council Bluffs, IA and Omaha, NE area, so are they a good place to get dogs? I really would like to get a puppy, because I would like to train the dog, and have it get acquainted with me. I DON’T WANT TO BUY FROM A PUPPY MILL.

Red Flag — photos of all those breeds.
Red Flag — “We do not breed our own puppies” — What is *that* supposed to mean? Then where do they come from? BYBs and puppy mills, that’s where.
Red Flag — We sell pets. There are already way too many pet quality animals in the world. A responsible, reputable breeder breed for show. Not every dog produced will make it, so some are sold as pets. But they don’t start out trying to produce inferior animals.
Try the web site of the Siberian Husky Club of America. They should have a breeder referral service.
Sad to say it, as I’m sure there are reputable dog breeders in these states, but any time the states Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas or Iowa crop up as regards to selling dogs, my suspicions are aroused. They are notorious as being prime puppy mill sites.
