puppy training north shore
are the dogs from the north shore animal league free?? also…..?

i want to go adopt one of those little hot dog puppies (u know the long dogs). Do they sell puppies too or just adult dogs? Also, does anyone have a little dog that they dont walk on a daily basis and they just train them to go potty in the house?

North Shore Animal League is a shelter – they don’t sell dogs, they find good homes for them and adopt them out. There is an adoption feed, they need funds to run the shelter and care for the animals, of course.

I take it you want a dachshund??
If you can’t find one at a shelter, there are breed rescues you can contact, do a search for “dachshund rescue” and find one near you.

It’s not a good idea to have your dog potty in the house – it’s disgusting and confuses the dog.
Any dog you get should have exercise, potty walks do that too – you need to walk your dog.

If you aren’t ready to do that, you are not ready for a dog.
Get the book “Dachshunds for Dummies”, great book, tells you all about the breed, its care and training, before you decide you want a dachshund – or any dog.
