Who, in Michigan, is the best dog trainers for upland birds and waterfowl? l?
I live in Portage, Mi., and will be getting a labrador retriever puppy soon. When the pup reaches 4-6 months of age i would like the dog introduced to bird hunting. I would like to contact a professional dog trainer, who is familiar with labs, that can take my pup and instill the basic knowledge and eventually go to advanced training. I would also like to work with the trainer when appropriate. I would like to stay within 200 miles of the Kalamazoo area.
I am not exactly sure where these people are located at but here is their website. I am up in Traverse City, MI and I know there are not any trainers up here.
