puppy training jumping biting
is it normal my puppy to bite me?

i have a 8 weeks old french bulldog. When we play he starts jumping and biting.I was wondering is it normal? I dont want to train him not to bite, but if i dont train him will he continue to bite? Ty in advantage :D
Yes,he has chewing toys(rubber and laces).Ty for all the answers.

It’s absolutely NORMAL for a puppy to want to constantly bite you. And you can train him when it’s inappropriate to bite (it really should NEVER be appropriate, but it’s up to you) by telling him to “leave it” when you don’t want him to bite or do another behavior you don’t like. If he keeps up the behavior, say “uh uh uh” after 3-4 seconds in a firm, non-threatening voice, then give the command again. Have a squirt bottle filled with water handy, and if he doesn’t listen the second time after another 3-4 seconds, say “uh uh uh” and squirt him in the face. THEN give the command once he jumps back and he should listen.. maybe not the first time, but it won’t take long. Continue this training until he complies 100% of the time.

What a splendid puppy! Good luck!
