8 week old puppy help ??/?
Ok. I just got a 8 wk old pit mix and i was told to crate train it and ive been reading. 1st i put him n a cage, he pooped everywhere. then we put him n a crate, he pooped in that. how am i posta train it not to poop in it if he is? before we got him they gave him canned food, we bought him dry food, and his poop is runny and moochy. i need advice on the correct food to give him, also on the crate training? how long do i keep him in it? when to take him out? he is a puppy so i know it will take awhile.
also what shots are recommended for him? i want him to be healthy. i was told to give him the 5 in 1. but i know it must be more than that it to.
as far as training, what is good advice?? thanks thanks
oh, i live in indianapolis if anyone knows of any great places to take it for shots
his poop is runny because of the change of food. normally u have to mix some of his old food with the new one till he gets used to the new food.. and normally puppies,dogs don’t wanna dirty the place they sleep in . so i dont understand why he does that.
but anyway how i trained mine is when he starts sniffing around the house. i put him in the toilet den he just keeps going back there for poop now. just be really patient with him.. and for the shots. do get shots done before letting him socializing with other dogs. there are 3 important vaccination u must get for him first shot at weeks 7, a month after for second shot. and a month after for the third shot.
