Personality
It is generally believed that a calmer dog is naturally easier to train. While it is probably simpler to hold this type of dog’s attention, an exuberant, hyper dog can also be easy to train if you have some patience. The key is to find and buy a dog that bonds with you. When you bond with a dog and that dog becomes your shadow because it is constantly between your feet, it will enthusiastically do anything for you. A submissive dog will usually cause fewer hardships in training than a dominant one will. To check and see if your companion is submissive, look him or her in the eyes. Age
The old adage says that you can’t teach an old dog a new trick and most folks believe that adult dogs cannot be trained, but that is far from the truth. Quite a large number of adult dogs learn even faster than puppies. Adult dogs tend to have a better attention span than puppies and they are more stable.
