Help crate training a puppy in an apartment complex.?

When we brought our puppy home we started the crate training and it was working out. But then we dog sat 2 puppies from the same litter and our puppy ended up not using the crate and sleeping with his siblings. They are now out of the picture but he won’t sleep in his crate and because of work and school we don’t have much time to train him in a positive manner. So he cries and barks and disturbs the neighbors. Help is it too late? Our puppy is almost 5 months.

well that was a giant mistake to let the littermates over … when you get a puppy the deal is it is to bond with you not littlermates … and if you don’t have time to train, take the time off … because the dogs personality is being developed for life right now … if you do not have the time to train this dog correctly, re-homing her quickly so she has a chance at being a normal dog would be the kindest … do nothing and have an untrained neurotic dog for 10 or more years … you get what you put in … if you are busy with life, now is not the time for a puppy …
