best puppy potty training method… ?
Is the spanking method really that bad? My mom trained all her dogs like that and they were NEVER effected. A neighbor of ours husband trained 4 dogs like that and they ended up just fine. We have started using the spanking method on our dog. We have only done it 2 times so far. She seems to have a change in behavior (not bad) just seems kind of like a new dog. BUT she doesn’t bite anymore she licks me. Seems more calm and non-puppyish. What other way can you train a dog at 4 months that has been badly potty trained before? She doesn’t seem to respond to NO! I don’t like the puppy pads idea. It seems that they should be trained on grass not pads. Please help!
