I don’t get why people on here are so concered about a border collie in an apartment?
I’m not a moron. I wouldn’t bring a dog that I knew nothing about in my life if it didn’t fit my lifestyle. Fortunately there’s a huge huge park with a small lake right across my apartment and i’m physically active, being someone that does track and plays sports. The puppy is already being trained with the frisbee. So physical exercise, check. I’m following Zak george from animal planet (he has great videos on youtube and a bunch of different ideas that will help stimulate the dog mentally)
some people erroneously think some breeds can not live in an apartment … for whatever reason they feel that way they are wrong … i have a jack russell terrier in a 400 square foot apartment and with the ocean two blocks away and one of north americas biggest urban parks within walking distance, my dog gets more exercise, mental and social stimulation than any backyard suburbanite dog … the size of the shelter is irrelevant, it is the owner providing the required exercise and training, which you are clearly doing so just ignore the ones who have never left their own backyard …
