Puppy Training Curriculum

Posted February 3rd, 2010 by admin

How do I convince my parents to let my puppy stay indoors as opposed to the back yard?

They don’t want the puppy to chew everything and pee everywhere.

I already told them that potty training takes about two weeks only and that we can just keep everything we don’t want her to chew out of sight (except for tables, chairs, etc).

They say that we simply don’t have the time right now. I partly agree because both my parents work and I have a very tough curriculum (junior year of high school) and homework takes about six to eight hours per night. I won’t have time to follow the puppy around.

So I was suggesting maybe the next big break, like winter break.

You opinions and suggestions on matters that relate to this?

Buy this book before your next big winter break: How to Housebreak Your Puppy in Seven Days by Shirlee Kalstone. It only costs $7.99 (plus shipping) and it WORKS. You can find it at http://www.dogwise.com
