Puppy transportation helP?
So , we might get a puppy.
The problem is We can’t drive all the way to NC from CT.
Please give me some links to websites that will ship a puppy from North Carolina to Connecticut, one by air, and one by train or something. I can’t find anything and I need some help. Please try to find it. ![]()
We know the puppy we want is good for us and we just need it shipped somehow.
We bought a dog we didn’t meet and it was fine. It’s a reliable breeder who will has parents with good personalities so the puppy does too,
* don’t answer the question if you’re gonna be rudee. We did look and it’s harder to find than you think.
@ Kairi, My Baby Girl:
Yes we have pictures of the dog from all different angles, and pictures of the puppy’s parents.
The breeder wanted us to drive but it’s a 10 hour drive and we want to ship instead. :}
You’re not rude , I was talking to someone else who answered the question.
Has your breeder agreed to ship this puppy to you? Not to be rude, but many breeders who agree to ship puppies are not always the best breeders afterall. You might also want to check on the legitimacy of their address and ties to the dog community, such as the registration and lines of the parents, check their health records, ect. to make sure that they really DO have a puppy for you…since some places will just take your money and never ship a puppy.
You also might ask for several pictures of the same puppy but at different angles, and the most recent pictures they can muster for you.
Additionally, have you considered asking the breeder to see if they are willing to meet you through part of the journey? If a pup can travel by car it is usually preferable to do so since airplanes can be scary and somewhat unpredictable to the condition of the puppy when they arrive. And god forbid there is something already wrong with it and the breeder blames the airline in some way because then you’re in a crazy bind.
When you get this puppy, please please be sure to sign a contract of some kind with the breeder. This is more for your sake than for theirs.
Good luck with the new addition.
