How do you train a new puppy to go to the bathroom inside and outside?
We just received a new small puppy (Morkie), and live in a high rise in Chicago. I would like to teach him to “go potty” both inside and outside. It seems almost impossible to teach a “high rise” puppy to go exclusively outside so I’m starting with inside paper training. Any suggestions as to if this is the right approach? Any ref’s you can suggest? Thanks.
With my puppy we used these special pee pads. They were supposed to smell like grass and teach him that that was the smell of where he was supposed to pee. I thought they worked really well. We found them at Petsmart, but they were a little expensive.
