my lab has hyper attacks?
I have a 4 month old lab puppy , who is very sweet when he is really really tired. After I take come home from work, take him for a walk and play with him in the backyard he starts jumping/biting/and attacking me (HYPER?) Also we have tried Ceaser Milan’s way of correcting bad dog behavior, but recently we have been going to a dog training place, and the trainer says for us not to act aggresively (step on his toes, hold his snout, turn him over on his back and say no) or he will act back to us. I don’t know which way to follow
Another thing is that he may be so hyper because he is not neutered yet. Do you think that we should drop out of the training class (the dog can’t be neutered between the class) and join another session?
One other problem he has is counter surfing. How should we stop this?
Im going threw the exact same thing rite now…i have a 4 month old weimaraner…and they need alot of excersize. In order for me to get him to calm down…i have to basically walk him every chance i get…or else he gets bored and starts to jump, bite, and attack…just like yours. So i do find once they have there excercise….they calm down alot. Plus they are still puppies, this is completly normal…just like children…they have all the energy in the world.
