Puppies available for free through some program?
I’ve been seeing news about them on the television but never know exactly how to go about getting one. It’s through some governmental training program or something (could be for the blind who need guide dogs, something along those lines) where you keep the puppy for 10 months until it’s grown, they pay you for its food and stuff like that, and you have to give it back after the 10 month period.
Is there a website I can go to for more information on this? I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Aus for anyone who needs more info.
These are the guide dog schools in Australia listed with the International Guide Dog Federation:
Association for the Blind Guide Dogs WA Inc School
Guide Dogs NSW
Guide Dogs Association of SA and NT Inc
Guide Dogs Queensland
Guide Dogs Victoria
Royal Guide Dogs Association of Tasmania
Royal Society for the Blind
Seeing Eye Dogs Australia
