Possibly New Puppy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I really want a new puppy for my 13th birthday and I want it to be a Pomeranian but I have a few questions, I know some people say they are easily trained, while others say they are stubborn, for Pom owners, what do you think, especially for potty training?? Also, would a Pom be a good choice for me, I know I would be able to take care of it, i already have a Cockapoo who is high maintenance. Also, I don’t want everyone to think I want a Pom because im 13and I want to dress it up and be all pretty like a doll, I know a Pomeranian is a dog not a doll. Also, do they do good by themselves, well without humans around for hours after they are potty trained?? People would be leaving my house around 9 in the morning and I come home around 2:00 – 2:30.

Please help me!!!!!!!

Hi,

Pomeranians are a very intelligent breed of dog, but like many small dogs, they aren’t the easiest dogs to house train. Here are some articles about house training a Pomeranian:

I don’t know if a Pom would be a good match for you because you didn’t give too much information, but here are some links to good dog breed quizzes:

Eukanuba – http://www.eukanuba.com/en-US/dog-breed-selector.jspx

Dog Breed Info Centre – http://www1.dogbreedinfo.com/search.htm

Because dogs are pack animals, they shouldn’t be left alone for long periods of time, but Pomeranians are fairly independent. If you want to compare a Pomeranian to another breed or if you just want to know some quick facts, try this link:

Good luck!
