puppy potty training?

is there anything that can help speed up the potty training? I crate them at times to help aid in the potty training but it doesnt seem to be helping. they just poo and pee in the crate and smear it all around. Should I just stop using the crate? At least when they potty on the floor they dont play in it. Not sure what i’m doing wrong. They are still young and I understand this, but I thought maybe they would be getting a little better. I walk them often..like every hour to hour and half. More after eating ect…any tips? they are english bulldogs if that helps. oh and they had a good vet checkup and no worms or anything..thanks

Okay, crate training is in order here. Get your pup a crate just big enough to stand up and lie down in comfortably.
At least two hours before bedtime pick up all food and water. Just before bedtime take puppy out, wait for her to eliminate, then praise quietly and put to bed in her crate.
First thing in the AM when puppy wakes up, outside, wait for it, praise! Then start your day. Keep puppy in the same room with you at all times, when you see “potty” behavior, sniffing, circling, sqwatting, scoop puppy up, outside, wait for it, praise! Say something like “get busy” or “go potty”, when praising, say “good get busy/ go potty”!
If you can’t watch puppy, in the crate with a few chewie toys, the minute puppy comes out of the crate, outside, wait for it, PRAISE!
If puppy has an accident, don’t say anything, just quietly clean it up and watch her closer next time. The key to this is cosistancy, EVERY TIME puppy goes outside, lots of praise. Set her up to succeed and she will.
Eventually you will be able to take her, say the “magic” words and she will go for you. If eliminating outside ALWAYS gets praised she will start to let you know when she wants to go out. You will have to learn her signs, some dogs will sit and look at the door, some will whine and scratch, some will bark and run from you to the door.
Hope this helps, good luck with her.
