Has anyone ever had the veterinarian prescribe prozac or ssri for a dog with aggression? Obviously, training-?
We have a boston terrier that we rescued from an agency that endured a puppy mill. She attacks our other small dog to the point of drawing blood at times. We have had trainers deal with her and they said finally that these issues cannot be cured, rather managed to a certain degree.
Has anyone ever had possible good results with doggy prozac or something to help with aggression issues towards other dogs? Is it expensive? Thank you
I’ve heard of it, not too sure how well it works, but I do know you still need to constantly work on/with the aggression. Have you had his thyroid tested at all?? if it truly cannot be resolved with training, I’d have his thyroid checked also.
