about our puppy, He’s semi..ok barely paper trained, managed to half go on paper once and good tips?
9wk old papillion/chihauha, The breeder said he was “semi” paper trained..but uh..not so much..he’s gone pee and poop twice since we got him today and only once he made it barely onto the paper..We want him to go outside but unfortunately there’s about a foot of snow and not mention 2-3inches of ice on top of that so he’s too tiny to even walk in it..we live in a apartment..I don’t know how to get him to go on the paper, We looked at those pee pads at petco today but they were ridiculously priced..any tips or suggestions???
I’ve had papillions for years, they’re brilliant dogs.. potty training is a lengthy process nonetheless, though, and you’re negating the fact that you just picked up a new puppy who is no doubt confused about where he is and what’s going on.. I mean, this is a totally new experience, right?? If you had just gotten used to being someplace and then took a long car ride and wound up someplace new, you’d probably need to stop and pee a couple times too!!
