How Do I Keep My 2 Mini Dachshund’s From Slipping Out Of My Fence?

I Put Up A Chain Length Fence In My Backyard For My Home Daycare. Then We Decided To Get Dogs. Now They Are Slipping Out Of The Fence, Between The Gate And The Pole, Where The Gate Latches. There are concrete Posts In The Ground To Separate Each Pole, For The Fence. So You Can’t Put Anything In The Ground In Front Of – Or Behind The Gap.I Have Tried Wedging Blanket’s In The Gap. But They Are A Big Hassle. Anyone Have Any Other Ideas. We Have Had Our Little Guys For 6 Months And We Have To Chain Them Up On A Leash.Rather Than Let Them Run Free In Our Great Fenced In Yard.Desperately Need Advice.

Actually Brick’s Would Not Fit In The Gap.That Is How Small My Dog’s Are & I Have To Be Able To Get In And Out Of My Gate.It cannot Be Permantly Binding.

put bricks in the spots that they can fit.

ok no brinks hmmmm………..how about chickenwire and attaching it to the fence where needed?

what we did to our chain link fence is we built out own gates to meet the size we needed, at the time our puppy was smaller.
