Best device to bike with a dog?

I want to start biking with my 50lb Husky, but I have no idea what bike attachments are best, or if any are really needed at all.
On a walk he’s a puller, always wanting to be in front, or go faster, but when jogging he stays pretty close by my side.
What’s the best brand of bike dog leash attachment, or do you think any is needed at all?

Thanks!
I’ve already searched Amazon for attachments, but they all look the same to my untrained eye.
I’d prefer one that had my dog running along side me, although since he is a husky some ability to have him “mush” would be fun, too.
Thanks.

There are 3 that i know of.

The springer

K9 Cruiser

and the walkydog

the springer has had problems from not fitting all bikes to falling off while regular riding (has a safty detachment device built in)

the walkydog CAN allows “some” dogs to get too close to the tire and or get a tail in the bike wheels.

I havent heard much about the K9 Cruiser so dont really have an opinion on that. It makes the dog run more behind you which i dont like because you cant make sure they are keeping up as well. It is also lower to the ground and i can totally see a dog stepping on or getting tangeled up in that.. but is does keep them away form the tires…

I know some people use a leash or a bungy type thing (like this–> http://www.rei.com/product/779790) and attach under the seat.

Make sure you bring LOTS of water and take a break ever 10-15 minutes. Work him up to going faster but start slow and short rides. Ride only on trails NOT IN THE STEET. unless you want to fall and have your dog get ran over sause he is locked to the bike… ALWAYS USE A HARNESS not a collar.

have fun!

edit:

If you want him to pull here is a great article on dog “bike mushing” lol
